Your 'Ouse
==========

Written by the Levellers, from the "Just The One" EP.

Transcribed by Alan Bigham, 1/1/00. I've left out the fiddle solo at
the end as I can't get the chords to sound right. Some of the lyrics
are copied from Lars' site (see Links), and some I
tried to work out myself. As always comments and corrections welcome.

Thanks to Aaron Gunstone and Matthew Ward for correcting some of the lyrics.

VERSE I
 D C
Come on then boys, lets have us a drink
           G D
"Is there one there for me?" is the cry
     D C
I'm sorry about me, I'm sorry about me mates
        G D
Do you think we'll last out the night?
       D C
We've had a slack hand, Danny Bhoy's down a grand
       G D
We're having it down his 'ouse tonight

It's getting harder to see, may need another drink
   G D
A Spiders will do me alright

CHORUS
           C G D
And we're 'aving it 'round your 'ouse
 C G D
There I've said it its out
        C G D
And we know that you'll be about
           C G D

VERSE II
On All Hallow's Eve we were a sight to be seen
I'll remember the rest of my life
We had everyone there who had the bus fare
Drinking ripple and Long Island ice
And the only grief came from the police
Who didn't want our fire alight
But when they were gone we carried on
And raised a shout of massai

CHORUS

D C G D
D C G D
C D C D

VERSE III
As well as our crew we had 'Justice' too
The drivers were flying by nite
Compulsion arrived to drink ripple wine
And soon we were messy as shite
And midnight express was looking its best
With none of us looking too well
We took what was left, came home for a rest
To have it round our 'ouse as well

CHORUS

D C G D
D C G D
C D C D
